St John Training

St John Training, formerly known as the Training Association, is a leading provider of accredited first aid and safety training in Malta. Established in 1882 as the first international branch of the Order of St John, we have a long-standing legacy of equipping individuals and organisations with lifesaving skills.  Its aim is to teach First Aid to members of St John Ambulance & Rescue and to the general public.

Our expert-led courses are delivered at multiple training centres including Valletta, Fort Madalena, Paola, and Birżebbuġa, as well as on-site at workplaces, schools, and other institutions.

We offer a wide range of certified first aid and safety training programmes designed for individuals, educators, parents, and corporate teams.

Our most in-demand course is the 18-hour First Aid Course (Adult, Child & Baby), which provides comprehensive training in lifesaving techniques across all age groups. All our first aid courses are fully compliant with Legal Notice 11 of 2002, ensuring they meet the legal standards for workplace first aid in Malta.

All first aid instructors undergo regular training and re-certification, with oversight from St John International, ensuring continuous alignment with the high standards upheld across the global St John network.
