The VOPS Safe Home Project has been awarded the National Prize for Project of the Year within the Voluntary Sector by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector.
This national recognition highlights the project’s impact in promoting home safety, prevention, and community wellbeing. The award was presented as part of the Voluntary Sector Awards, which celebrate excellence and innovation across voluntary organisations in Malta.
The success of the VOPS Safe Home Project reflects the dedication of all those involved in its planning and delivery, particularly the volunteers whose commitment continues to strengthen community outreach and safety initiatives.
During the event, St John Ambulance and Rescue Commissioner, Mr. Christopher Borg Cardona, thanked the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector for its support to enable such projects and everyone who made this project possible.
