One Mission. One Team.
St John Malta forms part of the ‘Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem’. It was established by Queen Victoria in 1888 and continues its noble mission of saving lives and serving communities to this day.
Chaired by Dr Michael Frendo, the St John Council serves as the governing body of the organisation, ensuring that our mission and values remain strong, relevant, and community-focused.
In recent years, St John Ambulance and Rescue Malta has united all its services under one integrated structure. This cohesive approach enhances collaboration across our expanding areas of operation, allowing us to respond more effectively and work more efficiently.
Today, we serve the people of Malta and Gozo through four main service pillars:
- First Aid & Nursing Services
- Emergency Response and Rescue Operations
- Training & Certification
- Youth Programmes
