Caritas Run For Life 2026

On Saturday 1st March, St John Ambulance and Rescue volunteers were proudly deployed in support of the annual Caritas Run for Life, providing comprehensive medical coverage throughout the event.

With large numbers of participants and spectators gathered in support of an important cause, careful planning and coordinated deployment were essential. Our teams were positioned strategically along the route, ensuring rapid access and continuous medical oversight from start to finish.

A key feature of this deployment was the activation of our specialised Cycling Response Team, enabling swift mobility along the Run for Life race route and through crowded areas. This agile unit ensured that any participant requiring assistance could be reached quickly and efficiently, complementing our static first aid posts and support teams.

From early morning preparations to the conclusion of the event, our volunteers demonstrated professionalism, vigilance, and dedication; embodying our commitment to community safety and public service.

We extend our appreciation to the organisers of the Caritas Run for Life for their collaboration and to our volunteers who once again dedicated their time and expertise to serve.

Events such as these highlight the importance of structured medical planning and trained first responders in ensuring a safe and successful community event.

We remain proud to support initiatives that bring people together for meaningful causes.
